The key idea
The environment is important is correct, but it doesn't fully say what you mean. Name the problem and the measure.
- air pollution — dirty or harmful substances in the air
- reduce emissions — to cut the gases released by vehicles and factories
- public transport — buses, trains and trams open to everyone
- renewable energy — power from sources that do not run out, such as sun and wind
- household waste — rubbish produced by homes
- protect natural habitats — to keep safe the places where wild animals and plants live
You don't need to use every phrase in the same paragraph. Choose two that fit your idea.

The second sentence answers the questions who should do what, and what the aim is. Then you can explain the reason: More frequent buses could make commuting without a car easier.

Build the right combinations.
- reduce — emissions / habitats
- renewable — waste / energy
