The key idea
When checking, don't try to make every sentence “more beautiful” at once. First find the big problem, then check the language.
- Is there an answer to every part of the task?
- In each paragraph, can you see one main idea and its explanation?
- Are verb tenses, singular-plural agreement and articles correct?
In Task 1, also check the numbers, units and comparisons. At the last minute, don't swap a correct simple sentence for complicated words you aren't sure of.
See an example
Draft: Students has many homeworks. This make them tired.
Correction: Students have a lot of homework. This can make them tired.
Students → have, the uncountable homework and the agreement this → makes/can make have been corrected. When can is added, the claim becomes a possibility; also pay attention to the change in meaning.
Now you try
Find three language mistakes in this sentence:
Many student prefers study at home.
Then extend it with one concrete reason. Check yourself: is the reason really about studying at home?
A personal draft. It is not saved when you leave or automatically graded.

Answer and explanation
Correction: Many students prefer studying at home. Prefer to study is also possible.
Example continuation: They can organise their study space without being interrupted by other library users.
First student → students is corrected, then prefers → prefer, then study → studying/to study. A fixed checking order makes it easier to see the mistake.
